BUFFALO, NY – Army West Point hockey (14-19-4, 12-12-2 AHA) fell in a decisive game three to Canisius (17-17-3, 13-10-3 AHA) by a score of 3-0 in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals.
Gavin Abric made 33 saves in net for Army before the Golden Griffins deposited into an empty net for the third tally which iced the game. Army was shut out for just the second time this season and scored one even strength goal throughout the series.
Mirroring yesterday's game two affair, the teams battled through a scoreless first period with shots even at eight apiece.
