Tampa, Fla. – Freshman Breanna Izzo nipped Kansas' bases loaded rally with one out in the top of the seventh to pick up the save and preserve the win for starter Olivia Farris as Army (4-8, 0-0, PL) held on for a hard fought 2-1 win over Kansas (10-7, 0-0, XII) in its opening round game at the USF Tournament Friday afternoon.
