I’ve long had a theory that comedy and football just don’t mix. So many people try and fail at it—just watch 15 minutes of the network pregame shows. But once in a while, someone absolutely nails it, and this week it’s the Bleacher Report animated series “Gridiron Heights.”
The cartoon short made a fake movie trailer turning the Detroit Lions’ playoff run into an action-movie, expertly parodying a cop drama filled with corruption, revenge, and a mob boss character (Roger Goodell, of course).
It’s a great premise for a video that will certainly resonate with Lions fans.
